AudioGameAccess comes to iPhone and iPad with VoiceOver

In short
AudioGameAccess launched for iPhone and iPad on 18 October. The free collection uses VoiceOver and 3D audio, and lets players meet across iOS, Mac, and Windows.
The selection ranges from bowling, archery, and city building to card, dice, word, and board games. Every game works alone or against computer-controlled players without an account. Online play requires a free account and offers tables for friends or other players, text and voice chat, and saved games that can be resumed later.
On iPhone and iPad, VoiceOver users can play with swipes and taps through Direct Touch, or use conventional cards, dice, and buttons on screen. The latter layout is also intended for sighted players. The developer’s website lists keyboard control with NVDA and JAWS on Windows and VoiceOver on Mac. The interface and speech are available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, but not Norwegian.
Update 1.4.1, released on 25 October, fixes a problem that could block account creation after a player left the app to read the confirmation code in email. Previous updates added Farkle, Parcheesi, and the Camembert Culture quiz, among other changes. Camembert Culture’s questions are currently in French only.
The App Store contains a positive report from a blind VoiceOver user, but no independent review has yet covered every game and platform. The iPhone and iPad edition requires iOS or iPadOS 17. The Mac edition requires macOS 14, while the Windows edition requires Windows 10 or 11.
